Dear Friends,

After about 20 years of helping other people write their books and articles, it’s time for me to get some of my own work out there.  I’m making some significant scheduling changes this year in order to finish one of my own manuscripts.  Wow! 

One of those changes could affect you in a really good way.  I’m beginning to offer FREE coaching services at my new Facebook Author Page as well as here on my blog.  Here’s the logic behind that shift:

I’m still accepting a limited number of face-to-face regional clients, but this is now application based and limited to writers of:

• Transformative memoir – you’ve lived it, done your self-care, AND come through shining
• Progressive contemporary fiction with strong female or BBIPOC characters.

No genre or stock fiction (sci fi, romance, etc.).  I am still open to ghostwriting for practitioners and researchers in the natural health world, and I’m exploring potential projects as a regenerative agriculture ghostwriter.

Here come the free coaching details. 

While my slate will be very limited for face-to-face clients, I will continue to answer many writing craft questions for ANY genre, as long as you’re open to sharing your question in a public online format.  This online coaching will be FREE. 

• You post or email a writing-related question.
• I answer it through my blog or on my Facebook Author Page.

The only “payment” I ask is honor-system based:  “Please engage with the Blog or Facebook Post – comment, share, tag your friends.”  That’s it. 

Yes, my goal is to finish one of my own manuscripts in the next year.  But that’s not all it takes to secure a publisher; I also need to grow my social media presence.  The reality is, even a ghostwriter who has completed hundreds of works, cannot sell her own book manuscript to a publisher without social media stats.  Period.  If you’re a new author struggling with this reality, I’d be happy to chat with you further… perhaps on my Facebook Author Page!
